We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team at Virletic. You will be involved in building, testing, and maintaining software solutions while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies and development practices.

- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications;
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
- Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and product managers;
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings;
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues;
- Learn and apply best practices in software development;
- Contribute to improving development processes and workflows.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#);
- Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures;
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git);
- Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, REST APIs) – optionally;
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn;
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
It is worth noting that we will be glad to hire a talented candidate who has experience with any frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, etc.), demonstrates understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL), is familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. If you have a GitHub portfolio, it will be a plus.
